Browsing
Aerial photographs can be viewed for different counties and years through the Browse page. To select a page, click on a year or county name.
Viewing Aerial Photographs
To view an aerial photograph page, click on a diamond in the left-hand map. The corresponding aerial photograph will load on the right side of the page (see image below).
Adjoining pages can be viewed by clicking the "N", "S", "W", or "E" links in the gray bars surrounding the aerial photograph. They can also be accessed by clicking one of the "Neighboring Photograph" links below the map, or by using these keyboard shortcuts: w - west, e - east, s - south, n or 3 - north.
For an expanded view of an aerial photograph, click on the photograph itself. An expanded aerial photograph will open in a new browser window and an assortment of image tools will be available for zooming in, zooming out, printing, etc. (see image below). Searching
This collection can also be accessed through the Search page.
To do a search, enter your terms in the search field. Results are listed in order of relevance.
Launching full collection (Luna Insight®)
The full aerial photograph collection can be viewed by clicking on the View Collection link in the top navigation bar.
This collection is delivered using Luna Insight software. For more information about using Luna Insight, please visit Cornell University Library’s Image Resources Help page, or the Luna Insight Help page.
Please note: You will need to disable the pop-up blocker feature in your web browser in order to open this collection.
Printing Map Pages
Click the "Printable View" link on under the aerial photograph image on a map page (see image below). A printable layout will open in a new browser window.
Go to File > Print in your browser menu to print the page. Close the printable layout window when you are finished.
